No, tony. I can barely walk, so can't get there. Phoned them and they've given me some stronger pain killers which take the edge off, but by no means cure it. All I've got to do is cough and the pain comes roaring back. Had it for 2 weeks now and fed up to say the least!

LOL! I tried and basically, they won't visit unless you're at death's door. I explained that when my Dad had this, it turned to pneumonia and they gave him 24 hours to live, so therefore, I didn't want to be responsible for spreading it around the surgery. She laughed and said that it was doubtful that would happen. Disgraceful in my opinion!

Disgraceful imo as well, Sir A, is there a walk in centre anywhere near you ?.

The nearest walk in centre is at Barnsley hospital, tony. I can't walk very far and I can't get into a car yet. Once the cough has gone, the nerve will stop re-trapping itself and I'll be fine. Can't come soon enough for me!
