Has anyone had a CT scan recently for checking their Stomach and how long did it take for the consultant to inform them of the result.

Time taken will vary hospital to hospital and consultant to consultant.

I had a ct scan last june didnt get results till oct.dont worry if they find anything untoward they will contact you within a few days.

It took a week for the results when my mum had one a little while ago although the Consultant had to call for them at the appointment.

I haven't had a ct scan but have had barium xrays of my stomach. Is it anything like them?
