Hi Bethesda, On second thoughts I am not happy with my reasoning for answer 7. What about Taiga as the answer? It is mentioned on page 852 (haven`t had a chance to look elsewhere yet). Taiga is a vast area.
Thanks for pointing out that 17,226,000 was on page 596. As you know this is the area of Asia in square miles. If you add the areas of Antarctica, Europe, and Australia in square kilometres you will see this totals 31,601,501. This number of square kilometres will easily fit into 17,226,000 square miles. I hope this is helpful.

Hi. I've only just found these threads and wondered whether you ever got to the bottom of Q1. I can link Frederick, Michael, George and father but Maud in any logical way at the moment (assuming it is to do with page 21). Did you come to any conclusion? I was also stuck on questions 4 & 7 but your suggestions are very helpful.
Hi Limedrop
Thanks for the reply though I am still missing the obvious in Q1 - I can see that Michael is the 2nd name of Frederick Windsor (ie his father's first name) but can't find a Maud elsewhere on that same basis. Should I be going for the obvious Elizabeth connection?
Q11 if you haven't got it is to do with bank notes. Q13 - may be rate of inflation unless any one else has ideas.
