What are friends, would you die for a friend. In this country friendship doesnt mean anything or does it?

A friend is someone you love and enjoy being with, without there being a sexual relationship or attraction. Some people call their wives, husbands or partners their best friends. I think that's wrong. Soulmate is a better description because it's much more than friendship.
