not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes ...haley on corrie gets buried in a cardboard coffin are they cheaper than wood ones ?
In short, yes they are. And furthermore, you can buy your own coffin before you pass away and store it somewhere. You don't have to use the services of an undertaker
At one funeral I attended recently, the coffin was wickerwork, which I thought was much nicer-looking than cardboard. Quite a few years ago I saw a cardboard coffin at another funeral, and just thought it looked too much like a gigantic shoe box.
You can, of course, decorate a cardboard one, either with paint or decals. You'd need to check the rules with either the crematoria or the graveyard as many things aren't suitable for burning or burying.

Me, too. It is absurd to pay a fortune for a coffin. It is sad to think the only time some people get to travel in style in a limo is when they are dead. Treat your loved ones while they are alive and can enjoy it.
Cardboard box will do for me. My one friend asked that she be wrapped in a horse blanket and sent for med students to practice on. And that is what was done for her.
