Property has gone up so much here, boxy. It is a problem if you move away. There's a mini price boom, and you can't move back.

It also makes it hard for people to move house. If you are a family thinking of moving to a bigger house, your old house and the new house have gone up by the same percentage, but the increase on the new house is a percentage of a bigger figure, so it's more in absolute terms.

Unless your income has gone up commensurately, you can't afford to move.

We've lived here nearly 30 years. It's nice area,good neighbours and I can't recall any serious problems so we're here for the duration.Mind you a villa in the sun that we could move to in the winter would be nice.

I'm very happy where I live, but if it was warmer and sunnier all year round it would be perfect!

If I couldn't live here, I would live in New Zealand. Love it over there.

I was in Deal, Kent yesterday, which was really lovely. I could move there.... but I won't.

Yes, certainly do. We moved in one year ago on Friday (24th) it was our choice to move. Just getting it to look like a home at last. I can honestly say that work (from home) is now a pleasure.
And I get to wave to cupid across the Estuary!

Live where we live because of children and grandchildren, far from our roots. And then they all b@@'ggered of to live in the U.A.E !!
