Shrinking Jumper

have I got a leg to stand on? got my oh a new jumper from Tesco and it shrunk (a lot) in the first wash even though I washed it according to the directions on the label, but will they believe me?

I doubt they would actually call you a liar if you stuck to your guns. A big place like Tesco are quite likely to just replace or refund an item without much quibbling.

I'm told that if you soak it in a bucket of lukewarm water and hair conditioner, it will relax and go back to original size. Worth trying??

thanks all, think I might try to get a refund first, if not will try Jennys tip, I used to work in a shop and I know our old manager would never have given a refund.
