Suppose this question really belongs here seeing as the person this is for is about to go travelling on his motorbike. I hope you guys have youre thinking caps on...
My dad has got some new biker boots but he is having trouble breaking them in because obviously they are so well reinforced in case of an accident. Any ideas on how to stretch them a bit?
I think I read ages ago that wet newspaper scrunched up and stuffed into boots will stretch them. Will this work on biker boots do you think? Any ideas welcomed.

(luke warm radiator, not hot)and as said before hide food or wax.
if they have a linning that makes them waterproof it's pointless filling them with wet paper cos the linning's there and you might even damage it resulting in leaky boots.
also tell him to carry a pair of trainers or similar so after a long journey he's got something to pamper his feet in. i know it's macho to wear your boots whilst clomping about chatting with other bikers but his feet will appreciate it.
hope he enjoys his trip!
