Kitchen Worktops Material
2 Answers
Hi,
I'm trying to work out what my kitchen worktops are made of to find the best way to clean them up nicely.
It's white and not smooth and looks a bit porous if that makes sense? It's difficult to keep clean as it's not shiny or smooth. As it's white I tend to use cream cleaner to get it really clean but pondering whether there is anything more effective I can use.
I can clean over with spray but it needs more scrubbing as it tends to grab onto any dirt and look grubby very easily and is quite delicate and prone to scratching (got teatowels and chopping boards all over to protect it).
Thanks for any help :)

If prone to scratching it is probably the latter I guess. If it is not smooth is sounds like a germ collecting surface and in your shoes I'd consider saving up to have them replaced. Although you are clearly doing the right thing by having the chopping boards.

Kitchen worktops house the sink as well as the cooking range. They are where you do your chopping, blending, washing, drying and serving - basically, almost everything you do in the kitchen. If you eat in the kitchen too, you have all the more reason to pick a countertop that both looks good and serves its purpose perfectly.
Moreover, In case susceptible to damaging that is just about the second item I guess. When it is not easy can be feels like any inspiring seed gathering floor and inside your footwear I might consider keeping nearly have them swapped out.
