Anyone know how much it is to re guarantee a dc animal 25, after my 5 years have expired. Many thanks,

I should think Dyson would know...but they don't like them being called "hoovers".

don't bother , Dyson will refurbish/repair an old machine for I think £75.
less than the cost of the guarantee.

Personally, I don't bother - the cost is usually offset by the cost of getting a new one after 5 years' use.

^^ and some extended warranties say in the small print that as the machine gets older, they only over you a percentage of the value if it can't be repaired.

Thanks all, dyson have been brilliant, the main body part has a crack down it, he came out tuesday and was coming back yesterday, I had a phone call on friday to say he was called away on a family emergency so they would send me brand new one out on tuesday, my old cleaner is 5 in may, I am well happy, x
