Feeling A Little Jaded Today....

Hosted a Burns' Night yesterday. Five courses and 11 different whiskys not forgetting gin, wine and beer.

Today has been a slow day although I made it to the pub to meet with some of last nights guests, instead of our usual lively chat we fell into what is best described as a companionable silence as we were all feeling a little 'weary'.

One conversation we did manage to have was sausages Vs chipolatas.......(we deliberately stuck to low level subjects given our delicate state).

Personally I'm in the chipolata camp, as were one or two others.

Nobody preferred sausages.

The majority couldn't tell the difference beyond recognising the size difference.

So to help me go back to the discussion with a broader sample of opinions.

We're fine this morning, we finished around 1 am. - Jura was the whisky of the night for those who were imbibing.

We too had bramble cranachan, it was delicious :-)
