I've never touched raki since an unfortunate encounter with a Turkish family and several bottles of the stuff.Trish has never let me forget about it.

Raki indeed can be very rough....there are some pretty grim drinks out there - I'm not a great ouzo or pernod fan.....now a White Russian ice tea....well.

my preferred drink was my own version of Bloody Mary,
as to Raki, i worked in a bar at one time and sometimes we just got bored when not busy, some of the drinks must have been there for years.
