How do I get rid of unwanted sites on My Favourites bar?

Daisy, if I were you I'd repost this in Technology / computers, you might have more luck if one of the techies see's it.

Highlight them, then right click and you should see the option to delete

Right-click on one of whatever toolbars are there and the favourites should be in the list so just click on it to display it; in Firefox the options for which toolbars are to be displayed are also included in the View menu.

As a general rule, if you right-click on something - a toolbar, an image, a link, highlighted text etc - the context menu that pops up is a list of the actions that you can take.
