These days do people pay for takeaways by debit card over the phone or do you pay in cash when it gets to your house? (We live in Hicksville and you can't get takeaways delivered here.)

Cash at the door, never done it any other way. I think Domino's Pizza accept payment over the phone first but I've never had them delivered, we always collect as it's BOGOF.
The local chippie we use will deliver a single bag of chips the whole thing costs less than £3
chris just checked the one that is local to me

Eccles, are you Welsh?

We've got a chippy and a Chinese takeaway (but it's not very nice) in the village but I miss being able to order a curry (as a treat). If we all go for a curry it costs a flipping fortune but if me and himself (and maybe boy #1) had a curry then it would be quite reasonable as an occasional treat.
Sherr:
Have you tried putting your postcode in here?

I've just tried a postcode which I think is close to you and found 17 places listed. I accept that many of the places listed might turn out not to actually deliver to where you are but (given the potential size of an order for a family of 7) there might be one or two who could do so. Perhaps it would be worth a few phone calls to find out?
sherrardk have you tried the asda meal deals £3 curry and 85p for the rice , the chicken tikka masala is lovely
Question Author
Cheers Chris, I will ask around and see if anyone rates any of the curry houses on that list (although no one has ever mentioned them when I have asked about going for a curry). Think a lot of them deliver as far as the army camp but no further. But thank you for looking.
No wish to offend but does anyone really order a bag of chips for delivery and then pay £3????? Pished or daft, can be the only explanation in my book!

Not I'm not Welsh why wool you thing that Daisy
.
^^^awful predictive text there, sorry.
You have to spend at least ten pounds and it's delivered free if you live in a five mile radius.

Around here this is what the norm is (and remember that I'm at least 4 miles that anywhere which will deliver, and ordering for just one person):
