1st morning of 4 weeks zoo keeping and discovered the garden isn't dog proof. Had to brave the elements in my pj's to go out and find him!

All's well now, he's laid in front of the fire not realising the panic he caused.

The joys of having a dog round the place.
Well that's your exercise for the day, BT.
as my gran used to say "you will get your reward in heaven" nothing better than having dog around the place b/t.
Come to think of it where has Ask Your Gran gone haven't seen a post for yonks ?
Well a bit of morning jogging is good for you ! ......lol
What dog is it? If it's a terrier, good luck! No garden seems to be terrier proof; they'll find a way out, whatever :)

Oh dear, a second escape, this time half an hour to find him, he won't do it again, I won't let the little critter out of my sight, or off the lead! Thankfully it's extremely rural round here.

He's a Couton de Toulier FredPulli. I suspect he's missing 'mum and dad'
Mr Toffee - your post has made me smile. My first dog could scale any fence and toddle off to do 'dog stuff'. He used to go up to the local Primary School and play with the kids at break times (1980s - before I knew better)

He always came home covered in mud and needed a bath. We would just open the door and he would skulk past us and up to the bathroom for his dip in the tub.

:-)
Oh dear, small and adventurous. Little ones are the worst because they can escape through small gaps and are adept at making small gaps big enough. My Dandie Dinmont spends more time in other people's gardens than in mine but at least everyone in the village knows whose she is, so she never gets very far! One good thing, they have little legs, but even then its astonishing how fast they can travel. Worrying isn't it ?
