is there such a thing as cooking oil that doesn't smell, most oils ie vegetable & corn, that I have tried leave such a lingering smell, I have cleaned my deep fat fryer ready to re-fill it but am living in hope that somebody will tell me the best kind to use thankyou

I have never found any that don't smell, its one of the reasons that i got rid of the fryer.
Have you tried peanut (groundnut) oil?
Rapeseed oil doesn't smell, good flavour, worth buying
