For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hi Celtic_fan, London Eye on a clear day is fantastic, also worth visiting Tower of London,then walk along and go up the Monument, near the London eye you also have THe houses of Parliament, Downing street, Trafalgar square, Buckingham palace, tate gallery,National gallery,and westminster abbey, you will be tired but all are within walking distance, if you walk up whitehall you will also pass The horse guards,you will have a great time there, Enjoy it, From a Londoner
PS Tower of London & Monument are to far to walk from westminster but you can get a train from Westminster to Tower Hill (circle line)

If you fancy seeing the sights in a slightly more unconventional way, may I suggest doing a "Ducktour". Basically it is a bus that can drive on the road, and then drives into the Thames and turns into a boat so you continue your journey on the water!!!
