GB don't have a huge heritage of competing in the Alpine Skiing events. But this year, as well as Chemmy Alcott, we have Slalom skier Dave Ryding.

Actually, that's not quite true. If you go by road, Geneva is a bit further than Aberdeen. But, according to Google Maps, the journey time by road is about the same.
