Apparently dead rubbers needn't be played if the 4th match goes on beyond straight sets, but it's up to the captains. So there was no result.

jim360 seems very knowledgeable where his tennis is concerned. I certainly enjoyed it all. I noticed that Rafa Nadal has been given an award for Excellence in Sport. Hope his back is getting healed up as he didn't play in his country's Davis cup event.
