Can you please explain to me in simple (terms), how I put music on my tablet?

I'm not very technically minded, so basic instructions please.

Firstly, it might help to know the make and model of your tablet. Then it would also help to know where the music that you want will be coming from. Do you want to transfer existing music files from your PC? Or do you want to 'rip' your music CDs (via your PC)? Or are you seeking music online, to be downloaded to your tablet?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
Ideally, I want the easiest way possible but is there a way to do this for free?

I still need to know where you intend you get the music from! Is it from your own CD collection? Is it from, MP3 files on your computer? Or are you seeking to download music files from the internet? (If that applies, any free method won't be legal. You'll need to buy the tracks from iTunes or another online store).
