Just been looking through argos for a toaster. Would you pay£199 for one I certainly wouldn't . Is there any difference in the toast in buying a cheap one compared to one about £40 .

I just use the grill in my oven, mainly because I don't like clutter on the worktop but I think it toasts better anyway.

It's a toaster for goodness sake! I would not spend time (or money) admiring its looks or colour.

I've got a four slice (red) De Longhi toaster. It does bagels, muffins & from toasts from frozen. I must have had it about 5 or 6 years and it does get used a lot.
