The Everly Brother's Concert

I watched the Everly Brother's Royal Albert Hall reunion concert that I had recorded and noticed that Phil never sang any part of their songs on his own. Don sang everything.

I thought that on the solo parts, such as in "Til I Kissed You" both Don and Phil sang solo parts. Am I wrong and, if not, why didn't Phil sing on his own?

Didnt notice. What I did notice (I assume the concert was in the 70s) is that after 10ish years they had no new material. They would have sounded great with the Beatles love songs or others who were around at the time.
And another thing. The interiew appeared to be at the same time . Why nothing more recent. Except 'Mom and Dad' no mention was made of family, wives or children. Odd.

Don's rich baritone was/is a much rounder and single-friendly voice than Phil's rather shrill and squeaky tenor. When they were having their greatest success, record producers pretty much decided everything, including who got to sing lead.
