From what I know, there are many strains of this virus. The most well known is that which causes genital warts.
Also causes plantar warts (on bottom of feet)

Thanks nicnic, I think you're right, I've just 'Googled' it as well.
HPV is implicated in cervical cancer in women, but there are several strains of it.

There are over 200 types of HPV, 40 or so of which infect humans. HPV types 16 & 18 are implicated in around 70% of cervical cancers and HPV types 6 & 11 account for around 90% of cases of genital warts.

There are a couple of vaccine manufacturers currently close to licensing vaccines to protect against either two or four of these types.

A search on google will bring up loads more info

Many thanks to all of you.

Not that many have it, I used a Chinese berry ground into a paste from a doctor's which burns off warts and most skin tumours within a couple of weeks.

If not, liquid nitrogen spray was the best treatment, followed by salicylic acid plaster which is no longer made.
