The people on Jeremy Kyle seem real, with feelings, well most of them, but I think they are acting on Gerry Springer cos they are all smiling at the end when the audience ask questions. Yes I know, I should get a life but I am so grateful for mine when I watch these programmes ....

I don't think there is any doubt the GS's progs are set up.

You only have to look at the 'fight' scenes - not only would people who genuinely wished to fight put far more of an effort into it, instead of bitch-slapping and a bit of hair pulling. In addition, if the 'security' people wanted to stop a fight, they wouldn't let the protagonists get within touching distance of each other. As you always see, they allow them to get into clinches before pulling them apart - not that there is any danger of serious injury.

Can't speak for JS, but I do know that JK hasn't got staged guests, as I know of 2 families that's been on there.
