Then I thought to myself, 'Why our roof and not anyone else's roof. Go to sleep!' I did......eventually.

So calm here now it's strange....and I have a mystery.

From my house I can see, in the distance, a stretch of the A14. I have always been able to see the tops of cars and the top half of lorries going east.
Today I can see both carriageways, the central barrier and not only the wheels of all the vehicles but the road beneath them.
I can't for the life of me remember what was blocking my view of the lower half before but it's not there today.
Has the A14 risen or has the ground this side of it sunk?

I told myself exactly that Tilly! but it took me until 4am to go to sleep, most unlike me .......... I'm nearly dropping off now!

I got an hours sleep, it was so bad, my neighbours metal yardmasters shed, a £350 quid one is now in 4 gardens, I lost 2 fencing posts, but managed to save the new panels, I am in bed now, early night 4 me,
