I Am Doing The Worst House Keeping Job Ever.

As the sun is shining, I put my oven on to self clean. To do this you have to take everything out of the oven and, consequently, I have a pile of yucky looking oven shelves to clean. I've done two but now I'm bored with the brillo pad.

Just on here for a bit of respite. Graham Norton is rubbish today, too.

Glad it's not just me :) They are soon to be stashed out of sight in the airing cupboard. I had even looked up "knacks" to folding them and had them draped over an airer folded out to help!

Pffft, they can go on as they are, the creases can stretch:)

I manage to fold them ok with the help of another person..quite easy really...wish I could explain how...need to show you..so sorry.I love ironed sheets..such a nice feeling getting into bed with fresh ironed ones...

Just an update on my oven shelves. They are gleaming brightly in a sea of brown gunk.

Impressive but a bit scary to use, tiggs. I wasn't happy about pouring it down the sink.

I felt the same about pouring it down the sink but then I thought about all the bleach and other cleaning products that people put down the sink so I just did it. Might've even cleaned the pipes on its way down!

It does say, on the packet, that it's safe. It just didn't feel right, though.

Actually, I cheated and put three oven shelves in the bag. They all came out looking like new.
