I'm updating my calendar and have just spotted that my iPad has noted my birthday.

I'm not sufficiently addled (yet) that I need reminding of my birthday but am curious as to how it knows the date.

I don't recall giving my DOB when setting up the iPad.

Back to the ipad, I think there are settings within your email to stop all this calendar sharing lark, I had to find it after the last update as I had everyone of my FB friends birthdays in my calendar. Gmail settings sorted it out :)
