A Good News Day!

Now and then you get a really positive day.
Myself and partner have both had promotions in our workplaces confirmed today.
As well as the obvious financial benefits, we were both ready for a new challenge at work. Coming 11 weeks before our wedding as well is brilliant timing too!
So out for dinner later to celebrate our good news.
Although one of my personality flaws is I always expect bad news, or, for the good news not to turn out as good as I expected and find it hard to accept good fortune!! Daft arent I!!

Wolf - coincidence, I have been waiting for a position to come available that I was naturally next in line for and my predecessor finished up on Friday, but hers was a complete suprise, she is starting a trial fortnight for the higher grade position from next monday.

That's great news - I tend to think a promotion inside your current organisation is particularly satisfying as it means that your good work is being recognised.
