Death isn't justice in my opinion; justice is sitting in a cell for the rest of your life contemplating the evil errors of your pasts. I'm just not sure he had enough time to truly regret what he'd done.
He's dead.I am sorry for that because the murdering scheming basta*d hasnt had to face up to his barbaric atrocities.I'm sorry for the families of the victims who now dont have 'closure'.
He didnt suffer (unfortunately)- but I suspect he would have had as much respect for the court and would have been as arrogant as Saddam.
he was a monster who encouraged the rape and murder of innocent people. not just the killing in combat of enemy soldiers.
You seem to be critical of those with opinions that he should have been given the death sentence.
OK an eye for an eye is a contraversial line of thought, but surely you must accept that if people like him did not exist the world would be a better place. Therefore people like him should not be allowed to exist.
That's some really screwed logic. The world would be a better place without thieves, therefore thieves should not be allowed to exist?
What I would say is that the world would be a better place without genocide, rape or murder, therefore genocide, rape and murder should not be allowed to take place.
Are you a woman who as a norm wears dungarees by any chance !
Am I missing something? I don't know how anyone could infer from spacechimp's comments that he/she is a sympathiser or supporter of Milosevic. Bizarre.
To clarify my own point, I'm glad that he's dead because he's no longer in the world and that can only be a good thing. On the other hand, he never received a sentence - whatever it would have been, so he did cheat justice.
