actually something not quite right. will take another look

is taking a long time = put IS outside AGES = IAGESS
over = reverse that ^ to get SSEGAI
i have seen it with both spellings. it was the other, but nothing else fits
but agism, now not sure.
but the E spelling fits the wordplay in the clue
i see that, but i confess until know i have only used that one spelling, with an a. They have had this clue in the paper before...
heavens spelling really going, until now.
Agism is fine Em.
