Last week 2 robbers (1 armed with a pistol) decided to rob our local post office. What they didn't know was the postmaster is a keen golfer. They soon realised what a big mistake they made when he clobbered one of them with a 9 iron & laid him out. The other 1 got away but was arrested later that evening. Should i feel rather pleased?

The robbers should be thankful that he didn't have a gun otherwise he might have got a hole in one.
i suppose the one that got away was the driver
A sand wedge would have been better, rusty, more lift.

He is ex British Army peter. That fact must have slipped the robbers mind as well. :-)
