Ibuprofen - Constipation?

Hi, your pet drug Sqad!

Can it cause constipation if taken a lot (or at all I guess!)? I'm not the sufferer.

I'm not sqad - but a lot of painkillers can cause constipation, codeine does it for me. Not sure if the same applies to ibuprofen.

It can, but so can a lot of other drugs and a lot of other situations...........but Ibuprofen can be blamed if need be...;-)

Wow, that was quick! Thanks both. I wasn't sure and not an effect I've ever had from it (even codeine though bowel issues maybe intervene!).

I find that if I take ibuprofen now, so far from being constipated, I live in the loo!
