this is an outer London prefix but the lines have been vandalised at the weekend and people trying to call have been getting an engaged tone, badly affected are TalkTalk customers but they have been getting updates by text, I did not know until a relative said my phone had been engaged on Sunday aft for 3 hours but I was not at home.BT are still fixing the problem.

I'm in Brighton (Hove actually) and I'm with TalkTalk. I can make outgoing calls, can receive incoming from mobiles but not from landlines. When a LL tries to call they get engaged signal. How queer is that! Reported it this morning and getting regular updates from TT on my mobile. Thieving so and so's trying to take cables apparently here in Brighton I think.
