what shall I do with my cat??

I am moving into a new house in a couple of weeks which my cat will probably be fine with as we have moved many times before. The problem is I am on hoiday for 15 days in June, and I don't know where to put him.I cant leave him alone in the new house without us. And I dont want to put him into a cattery because my friend said they are stuck in cages all day. He'd be so upset. Anyone got any ideas on what to do ?

Good catteries will have an outside run for the cats as well as nice warm living quarters. I would contact some and go and see them before commiting yourself to a booking. Alternatively, you can hire a house and pet sitter for a fortnight, but that will be much more expensive. Do you have any friends that would consider moving into your house for a fortnight? I did that and it worked really well.
