Watching TV in bedroom last night - couldn't get subtitles - when I went to menu - menu had went into a foreign language.

I had lang on remote control but since I can't understand what language is I don't know the next thing to do.

Retuned and the foreign language is coming through.

Need to get right to the beginning and use a Pin No - how shall I do thanks in advance.

I have Freeview, you should have the same remote as me,maybe not. but anyway, it should have a button saying 'sub' then go to menu, go to the language button and select the 'Eng' button standing for British. if not. then sorry, i must have upgraded mine. :/

thanks angel for your answer - but everything is in the foreign language eg Afghanastan - so don't how to turn English on.

Also many thanks to you Methyl - never thought of google - am going out for an hour - will try when I get home and let you know what happens. Jenny

Angel is right, you need to go to the install menu, find country and scroll down to English, store, if asked for a pin try 0000.

have studied the manual so hard - but cannot get to original re-installation. It is still coming up in the foreign language - ie in the menu bit. Will keep on trying to get the bottom of this bloomin thing. good night all
