no 19 bus is sometimes, it carries you far and wide, the no 24 bus is one of the new Routermaster types, i keep waiting to hear someone has fallen off it.
i am not going to launch anything, everytime i click on something alien it comes back to bite me

Boris has a lot to answer for, bring back those dangerous open doored buses. :-)
me too, Em, had to give the comp a good scrub this morning.

This is spooky, when I was waiting for the wee bus to come home, at the next bus stop there was a no. 19
new route to this area!
Well, 19 is a prime number and 24 can be divided by 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 12, so is certainly not a prime.
As to the other mysteries, I just don't know.

I always think 69 is a memorable number for some reason.
no 29 bus is a pain in the arris, i try to avoid it at all costs, not always possible i'm afraid, so a number i don't care for.

Number 19 in the link was this, 'The Wow! signal'. And 24, something I'd never heard of 'til now, the aliminium wedge of Aiud, an incongruous piece of metal found in Romania.

Looks like the buckle from an airplane seat belt. Could something similar have been lost from a spacewalk, the outside been burned into oxide on the re-entry through the atmosphere, but not burned away because aluminium is so light and didn't reach burn-out speed, and then crashed into the archaeological dig one night, when no-one was looking.

^ That seems a bit far fetched. Though not as far fetched as taking it to be a bit of an alien spaceship.
6174 is a very peculiar number. So is 7614, 4716, or any other rearrangement of these 4 digits.
Go on, ask me why
Question Author
OK, why?
Arrange the digits to form the largest possible number - 7641
then rearrange them again to make the smallest possible number - 1467
then subtract the smaller from the larger. There is no other set of 4 digits which will produce a result like this.
