Can Anyone See The Northern Lights?

Just announced on our local news (East Midlands) that the Northern Lights are visible here. Wow! We can't see them as we live on a hill but overlooking the lights of the town. Then on the National news it said they have been visible tonight as far South as Essex but that it has clouded up down there now.

Can anyone here in the Midlands see them? That would be really special, I have always wanted to .......

Watching Breakfast and they were seen all over the place last night and they were showing the photo's to prove it.We had nothing here but cloud.
