In order to prevent adverts invading my screen during receiving or sending emails, Sky inform me that I should enable SSL. In order to do that they say I should hover over the gear/cog (RHS top) and click on the "Mail Option" in the drop-down window. The only problem is there is no "Mail Option" All I get is :- Themes / Settings / Help / Privacy / Terms / About our Ads / Account info. No where can I find a way to enable the SSL and Sky have no idea. It's down to you guys now.......You have never failed yet. Tel

If you've got the old 'classic' version of Yahoo the option won't be there. Scroll down to the post from 'J - 98 days ago' here and see if it helps: http://nakedsecurity.sophos.com/2013/01/08/yahoo-mail-https-ssl/

Hi Buenchico, Thanks for advice but I had seen that link previously. My problem is I cannot find my "Mail Options" facility in order to enable the SSL. Any more ideas? Tel

Which is why I pointed you to a post which appears to offer a way of enabling SSL via a route which doesn't require that facility anyway! (Don't look for the gear cog. Look for 'Profile' and click on it to see if it produces a drop-down menu which will enable you to follow J's instructions).
