Anyone know where I can purchase online cloth tablecloths for 6feet tables for my church lunches, or material to make them? Must be easy to launder.

I bought my tablecloth from Primark, cheap enough, but if you're looking for something for church lunches, you could easily speak to a manager of a local hotel and borrow some linen, they'd be glad to help, I'm sure.

Have you considered the plasticised cotton type? Not so nice but a lot easier to keep clean. I'm sure they sell a selection off rolls in The Range.

How about a length of fabric for sheets? All you'd need to do would be to run a quick hem around it and you would have the size you'd need. I have sometimes used a nice cotton bed sheet as a table cloth when I couldn't get the size I needed

Thank you all very much for the advice. The Range has just opened a branch in a town not too far away, so I will have a look in there. There is also a Primark in the same town so I can check it out also. I'm not much of a needlewoman, but the sheet idea is also worth thinking about. I will have a browse in the Amazon site too.
