Ohhh....I am in so much bother!
I sold a DVD on Amazon, and thought I was so organised when I asked my daughter to post the DVD (me and my broken ankle still do not go out) Anyway she comes home and says she forgot that she put it in her brothers bag and will post it tomorrow....only my son,the hero, thought he would save the day and post the DVD,the only thing was there was no postage on the packet!!!!!
Any idea what will happen?I am going to warn the buyer and pleas with them not to be too angry, but I am thinking they will get hit with a charge,if I am lucky,I don't even know if the DVD will get there!
Oh bother!

What I would do is email the buyer straight away through eBay, explain what's happened, and offer to send them the postage charges via PayPal as soon as they notify you of what they've had to pay (which is something like the rate of postage plus £1.10, I think).

Alternatively it may be returned to you if you had your return address on the outside of the package, but more likely the recipient will get a card saying they need to collect it, and pay. If they don't collect it within 3 weeks, it'll be sent back to you (again, if your address is on it).
An email to the buyer with explanation - similar to what you've put here, and refund of postage plus the charge (£1 I think, but check on Royal Mail)
They'll probably get a note from Royal Mail telling them there's a package for them, they'll have to pay the postage costs plus a handling fee (£1 last time I did it), I'd email telling them you'll refund it all if they collect it.
... and then reclaim postage and charge from your son (and again from your daughter!)

You need to make a profit somehow!!!!!!
