i have loaded the disk for a wireless adapter to my second computer but it will not pick up the router from the first computer everythink has loaded properly from the disk for the adapter has anyone got any suggestions

what do you mean by that?

i am assuming you have one router, and you want to get two computers connected to it?

on both computers, can you launch the utility that shows what networks are available?

Im assuming its either wired in by ethernet, or you have a wirelss card in the second pc?

i have one computer with the router conected to it one laptop with a wireless bus card which works fine it is the other computer that i have loaded the wierless adapter disk connected the adapter it tells me i have loaded it and is working but i cannot pickup the signal from the router on the first computer

Do a scan for other channels, or set the router to a number and then search for that. Default is 11 I think.

thanks bluejonjo have scanned for "any network" and can pickup my laptop and a company at the end of the road but cant pick up my router. Try to connect to my laptop card or the other company and cant maintain a connection.
