I am a very early riser and am up hours before Mr O. When he finally surfaces he always lovingly asks how I am and how I slept. My reply is usually "fine, thanks."
I then ask him the same question, and without fail I wish I hadn't.
This morning's list of his complaints are:
The (miniscule) paper cut on his finger from TWO days ago is throbbing
His right thumb (broken many years ago) is aching slightly
He sniffed once and then announced his cold might be coming back
He thinks he has a hint of tinnitus
His knees still feel a bit stiff from volleyball last Wednesday

I won't go into his daily report on his bowels.

Does anyone else have a (slightly hypochondriac) man like this?

I think OH keeps a graph and pie chart of sleep patterns. If he wakes and turns over, he "didn't get any sleep". Can talk me through any interruptions (cat jumped on bed at 13:23, daughter sneezed at 05:12, etc etc...)

mazie, please tell me there isn't another one like this....

Thinking about it, someone with a bad sense of humour could have produced clones. Argh!
I always awake the good lady with a kiss and then ask how she slept, sometimes good, more than often not, I then feed and water the animals and give the hounds a run, then I make Carakeel a cup of tea in bed so she can take her normal cocktail of medication. then after her medication has kicked in she is able to rise from her bed, meanwhile I will often come on AB whilst she gets herself ready to take on the day.
I hasten to point out that I very rarely have any aches and pains and nearly always sleep very well but last night I did have a niggly tooth ache, I haven't even told her yet.
My doctor told me I'd got hypochondria, I said, "not that as well". :-)
Lol...luckily no.

He rarely ever talks about himself. He's always 'fine' even when you can see he's in pain....
Yep afraid so mrs_o... :o( And... If you don't ask, they get all sulky

Funny.
Mine's always fine as well. I've got the type that will endure pain in silence rather than take an aspirin. Why is there this group of men who won't take tablets!
I usually resist taking tablets but if they are really needed I will take them. I think a lot of men don't find that tablets do very much to help the problem so wont take them.
Are we not all sharing the same OH? Male that is. Why do they think that their bowels are of any interest? My MIL did ask me just after we were married if he was "regular" and I just stopped myself from saying Yes, three times a night.
big mistake mrs o, don't ask him how he is,:)
Sounds reasonable to me.
I did - and I ditched him!! Sorry Mrs Overall....
I think I'm sharing with Ummm and Prudie...... mine rarely talks about anything the matter with him.
the excruciating pain from a paper cut should never be underestimated
Luckily I don't have this problem but whenever Mr Tiggs is here he's always going on about how tired he is.
