The main thing I took from the programme was 'cognitive bias' or bias fixation. Two words that have such resonance with the tribal politics of this country. It went a long way to scientifically explaining why this country is in the mess it's in, and will remain in until people learn to overcome their bias fixation and actually think objectively and rationally about the issues facing us.
Not holding my breath on that one though!
