I love the word "snout" - it makes me smile each time I think of it... am also very fond of "trotters" - I think its co-incidental that they both relate to pigs....

My daughter used to describe things which didn't work properly as "ponky" when she was little - this has passed into everyday usage at home now.....
I have two favourites, they are sparkling and shimmering, they just give me a nice feeling when I say them!!
trebuchet (a device for throwing things), glockenspiel (a musical instrument), sequin (a sparkly thing)- just like these words because of the way they sound! Sorry for poor discriptions!
Muzzle. As in a horse's nose and moustache area.
Hubris - which to me means that when everthing is going well and you feel on top of the world you can be absolutely certain that behind your back someone is digging a blessed great large black hole for you to fall into.
Bensmum; Prawn didn't amuse me 'till now. Good job I'm veggie otherwise you might have ruined a favourite dish.
Good one !
Whilst hereI hope that VillageVicar will not mind me adding to his post.

"En'shallah" is an abreviation more usually written "inshallah". The full word is "insha'a'llahuta'ala" and means if it pleases God Almighty.

"Alhumdillah" is actually "al-hamdu-li'llah" and means praise be to God (Thank God). The word "Rabbi''l'dlamin" is usually added to it and means Lord of the Universe.
Check it out: favoritewords.com I really love their concept. Got to love that.
