How do I make a piece of text subscript or superscript in Word.

Superscript - Press Ctl+Shift+= then type the character. Repeat to cancel.
Subscript - Press Ctl+= and type the character. Repeat to cancel.
I believe above refers to Word 10. In older versions like 2003 you highlight it and select the format dropdown and pick up from there.
Yep, Prudie. Different versions of Word, different ways and means. Ctl+Shift+= works for me as far back as Word 2002.
