We popped down to Gt Y market yesterday shaney for our veg and needed proper coats, yet when we went to norwich in the afternoon, we were at least 5 degrees warmer there.
Eve...absolutely right....motor bikes out in force in the Brecon Beacons today, as they are every Sunday with nice weather. They are entitled to go where they like of course but I wish they wouldn't overtake on dangerous bends, drive far too fast on twisty mountain roads, and cross the double white line. Not all of them do this but enough to scare and intimidate other road users.
No kidding, TWR; you've advanced somewhat:) People used to make neat parallel rows on the lawn by changing direction during mowing since the heavy roller flattened the grass in alternating directions.
I've not seen a roller used for a fair while Stewey, too much work I'm sure, I have sorted my garden to be maintenance free, the front has rose bushes surround by Coloured Gravel, the back isd very near the same, the older you get, the less work you need.
I was born in Lowestoft - oh, those lazy winds, don't bother to go round you, just straight through. Got lot of family in Norwich, I'm jealous shaneystar, I love the place. Weather in the Midlands lovely, warm and sunny. Got some gardening done before I realised the door had locked itself and I had to climb in through the window!
It's been a beautiful day down here in Kent, and a fat half moon now shining down on us. Washing's been on the line, and I've moved some builders' dust around before I watched the excellent rugby match :-)
