Now we've accepted an offer on our house we need to start sorting out.

Today we've cleared the loft, and it's empty. Hope the bin men won't mind a couple of extra boxes tomorrow.

Surprising what you find, a 43 year old hand made wedding dress, no, she can't still fit in it!, wedding cards, birth congrats cards, even the plaster cast from sons broken leg form 1991.

Charity shops, eBay, car boot and auction houses should be doing some good business soon!

Funny what you find isn't it, had to clear out my Mother's house recently, found her 21st birthday cards and what I think was the 1st Christmas card I ever gave her, brought a tear to my eye it did.

Good luck, Blue.....the box of forty old television valves was a mystery to me but not as scary as the recent gun and ammunition receipt I found at my Mum's. We have never found the gun...have fun.....☺

I still have a 30 year old piece of paper one of my daughters wrote age around 3. I asked her why she was refusing to go to playgroup. She wouldnt say, but agreed to write it. She wrote - "i dot lik r t mary". This was I dont like Aunty Mary, who was one of the helpers there. We all do it and need to keep all these treasured memories.
