Jeepers ... Every time I get my phone out ... The same thing ...

You've got to stop using that old phone. What's the point having an iPhone if you never use it? How can you leave home without your iPhone? Etc ...

The latest "my phone is amazing because ..." argument was ...

... There's an App that let's you take stop motion videos!!"

Okay, so I don't think I've ever taken a stop motion video. Or wanted to. So my life will not fall apart if the phone I use day to day doesn't take stop motion videos, lol.

So, anyway ... What's the latest "can't live without" function?

I have a Nokia Lumiar and I rarely know where it is and it's dead most of the time.

I was forced by my family to "update" my phone, I'd had it for years and I was happy with it, but they said I must get a better one, so I went out and bought basic one in Tesco cost me all of £15, they still weren't happy, so they got me a more fancy model, hardly ever use either of them as I'm at home most of the time and the land line works fine for me I don't mind as I only spent £15!

I'm so old fashioned that the front of my phone displays an analog clock dial. I've had young people ask "How can you tell the time with that; it doesn't even show the seconds"...Yea, right: we all need to know the time to the second!

I haven't got a mobile either, so I don't have people telling me to stop using it.

I'd like to say I can take stop motion videos on my landline handset, but this wouldn't be strictly true.

OH has one which I'm sure orginated in the Ark! His argument is that it is a gadget to make and receive phonecalls and that is precisely what it does - no more no less!!

I turn my mobile (10 years old at least) on to call a cab home from medical appointments, otherwise it lives on the bedside table turned off, so is very likely not at all excited.

Bottom of the range Pay as you Go - just used when out of the house in case of an emergency. Totally useless at home as there's no signal.

Don't have a mobile phone, don't even know how to use one. And I have no intention of getting one.

it isn't exciting, i don't need bells and whistles, just something to make the occasional call on and tx whoever, that i am stuck in traffic, the norm
