Just watched it on telly.

It's so scary.
Yes, fantastic, and quite touching watching her belt out the National Anthem. You realise what a big deal it is when it occurs to you that it's the first time it's been played at the Winter Paralympics ...

The thought of going down those slopes with a tiny percentage of normal vision is scary. The telly gives you no impression of how steep it is.
They are incredibly brave.
Watching the amputees skiing earlier, I was amazed by their incredible balance and movement on just one leg, and some with just one arm. Just astonishing.
I have trouble feeling the direction of the slope when the light is a bit flat. skiing at downhill speeds when your sight is impaired sounds downright scary.

Mushers, that seems to happen towards the end of every afternoon.
