St Stephen's Day Or Boxing Day, What Do...
ChatterBank1 min ago
Hi all
I'm in my 40s now, but (for some completely inexplicable reason) a rhyme I used to now as a child came to mind this morning.
I'm not sure if there is anything before/after the part I remember, but it goes like this..........
"Austria was Hungary, took a bit of Turkey, dipped it in Greece and ate it in Spain. Long-legged Italy kicked poor Sicily into the Mediterranen Sea"
Is there any more? What the heck was it all about/for in the first place?!
